Reading Devournal or holding a membership means agreeing to a few plain rules. They're short on purpose.

Reading the notebook

Public deep-dives are free to read and free to link to. Quote a paragraph, share the URL, teach from it — that's encouraged. What you can't do is republish a whole article as your own or strip the byline and pass it off as yours.

Devournal Pro membership

A membership gives one person access to the full archive, the downloadable source and project files, the private Q&A thread, and early drafts. It's for your own use. Please don't share your login, resell access, or post the paid files publicly. If a team wants access, write to me and I'll sort out fair pricing rather than have you juggle one account.

Using the code

Source samples are provided so you can learn from them and build on them in your own projects, personal or commercial. They're teaching code — clear over clever — not a hardened library. Test anything before it ships. The code carries no warranty; see the Disclaimer.

Conduct in the Q&A

The private thread works because people are decent. Ask real questions, share what you tried, be civil. Spam, harassment, or dumping unrelated promotion will get a warning and then a removal without a refund of remaining time.

Availability and changes

I run this solo, so the site may occasionally go down for maintenance or a hosting hiccup. I aim to keep archive access reliable but can't promise zero interruptions. These terms may change as the blog grows; material changes get a note by email to members. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Lithuania, and any dispute is handled through the courts of Vilnius. Questions first, though — [email protected] usually settles things faster than anything formal.
